A gala blacktie celebration with fireworks display and all the glitter…the Indu & Raj Soin Medical Center in Beavercreek, Ohio opened to great fanfare in February. Project Manager Denise Burkett and Jain Malkin got dolled up for the event. The new hospital on a greenfield site was designed by HOK with interior architecture by Jain Malkin Inc. and construction by Danis Building Construction.
The 259,000 square foot acute care hospital provides inpatient and outpatient treatment, emergency services, orthopedics, cardiac treatment, critical care, imaging and diagnostics, and maternity services. Costing $120 million dollars, the Soin Medical Center is the eighth in the Kettering Health Network. Other hospitals under the Kettering umbrella include Schuster Heart Hospital, Sycamore Hospital, and Grandview Hospital, also designed in collaboration with Jain Malkin Inc.
